# clone the repo$ git clone https://github.com/coreui/coreui-free-bootstrap-admin-template.git my-project# go into app's directory$cd my-project# install app's dependencies$ npm install

# serve with hot reload at localhost:3000.$ npm start# build for production with minification$ npm run build

The default light theme uses warm beige tones. Customize the colors by editingsrc/scss/style.scss and rebuilding the assets.

Runnpm run server to start the Express backend. The server reads environment variables from a.env file and connects to MongoDB before listening on the configured port.

Within the download you'll find the following directories and files, logically grouping common assets and providing both compiled and minified variations. You'll see something like this:
