Circuitscape is a free, open-source program which borrows algorithmsfrom electronic circuit theory to predict patterns of movement, geneflow, and genetic differentiation among plant and animal populationsin heterogeneous landscapes. Circuit theory complements least-costpath approaches because it considers effects of all possible pathwaysacross a landscape simultaneously. We are developing Circuitscape forMac OS X, Windows, and Linux.
