Since late-March 2025, numerous images using AI mimicking Studio Ghibli art, has been circulating. They come from OpenAI, ChatGPT, etc. You know how Miyazaki dislikes it, claiming it as an "insult to life itself" in 2016.
Here is the news detailing about what is going on now!:https://apnews.com/article/studio-ghibli-chatgpt-images-hayao-miyazaki-openai-0f4cb487ec3042dd5b43ad47879b91f4

After seeing the whole ghibli ai slop trend, i completely feel nothing but spite, so i ended up doodlin this
My friend just posted this and I found it hilarious. Idk the guidelines but most that are for kids (or not mature like stuff) don’t allow swearing so I beeped that out.
His eyes need their own fanbase.
My friend made me choose between Howl, Haku, or Seiji and I gave up and walked out of the room.

I just absolutely hate the fact people are using ai ghibli images like it's nothing. I approve of hayao miyazaki of course and absolutely despise ai. Like it is an insult to hayao's life work
I’m watching Whisper of the Heart for the first time in YEARS and I just passed the part where Sugimuraconfessedto Shizuku and I CRIED.
I ranked the Studio Ghibli movies that I’ve seen.

I was bored so I started making a logo for Studio Ghibli that included a lot of movies. This is what we have so far:

Who else cried at The Tale Of The Princess Kaguya?
A simple Totoro plush sits outside with the trees, grass, and the green apple also symbolizes sweet nature.
It’s too bad his own movie didn’t give him that much focus.
I'm not the best painter my art is usually way better lmaoo
This may not be a popular opinion, but I have to give it. If Miyazaki's classic,My Neighbor Totoro were to be given a live-action adaption, I would be interested.
It would make some sense, since three stories that were made into films by Ghibli first have already adapted (Grave of the Fireflies,Kiki's Delivery Service,Whisper of the Heart). Not only that, but also Miazaki's Spirted Away got adapted to into a stage musical, which got televised.
After reading Tsugiko Kubo's novelization, which had the story expanded, I concluded that gave the story a new perspective. The narrative in the novel seems befitting for an extended story, which a live action film could realize visually.
