Curses! I want Venti's new signature weapon AND Durin at the same time. And I might not have the same luck as with Flins (in case you don't know I got Flins c6 with under 300 pulls). Another blunder is that Venti & Durin's banner will be at phase one, and I can get at most 30 more pulls by the end of it. Maybe I shouldn't spend all those primos after all, I guess the only thing I can do is to pray for Barbatos to help me. So help me God?

One of the biggest mysteries that we didn't get our answers to in the disaster that was the Natlan finale, was about the final part of the Natlan Teaser, where we see Mavuika talking to someone. To this day we have no confirmation about who this person is, and since all eyes are on Nod-Krai right now, I haven't seen any theories about it lately, so I had a thought

After Natlan's AQ was over, I had seen some theories about how the teaser takes place after the Natlan AQ. The main piece of evidence was the fact that Chasca talks about her now dead sister wondering if "she will be watching". When the teaser came out we had no idea what she was talking about, but after the Archon quest it did make more sense.

So, my theory is, the person that Mavuika is talking to is actually Capitano. Now, this might not make any sense, because Capitano appears in that teaser (in a place that is suspiciously like what we saw of the Mare Jivari) but of course we have to keep in mind that when the teaser released we had no idea that what it was about, and it was more or so there just to introduce the new characters, so of course they had to show Capitano. But with the assumption that the teaser takes place after the Natlan AQ, and the knowledge that he is dead, it makes me wonder if Mavuika is talking to him.

When talking to this mysterious person, she seems very solemn about it, and even tells them to "rest now" which fits with Capitano, and she also mentions creating a "new fate" and with Capitano also basically in charge of Natlan's Ley Lines, that could be something he might be capable of doing.

But that's just what I think, I'm still the #1 twist villain Mavuika truther so maybe this theory is a bit biased, but I just want to know other people's thoughts on this

As an unrelated side note, starting next week when the next patch drops I'm going to be taking a pretty extended break from the wiki to avoid any and all spoilers going forward. I'll be honest, I'll probably only come back when Mare Jivari releases just because of how bored I am with Nod-Krai and it's current storyline.

i JUST saw his official introduction and its so cool I LOVE HIM SO MUCH YOU HAVE NO IDEA

Firstly, hisdesign

I have no idea who was the first person to decide his concept appearance but whoever you are I LOVE YOU because its genuinely one of the best genshin designs ive seen in a while (you could argue that im biased BUT ITS SO GOOD)

From his tiny little ahoge at the top all the way down to his snazzy boots (and super cool dragon tail, i love that they decided to keep his dragon features to represent durin of dragonspine)

Usually when it comes to a purple-magenta-black color scheme the characters turns out to look... well, like a 2018 gacha oc terribly made by a 9 year old

So the fact they were able to incorporate it into him and manage for him to look amazing is just so cool I LOVE HIM SO MUCH AAAAAAA

And also the fact the small crescent shape in his bangs change colors depending on his form, its a minor but rlly cool detail i love him sm

Secondly,story

I know he technically doesn't have a lot to say lore-wise but with what he does have (and hopefully more to come) IM OBSESSED WITH IT

Especially because a big part of his character is split into two identities (himself and durin of dragonspine).

I remember saying like way back when during paralogism that with the old durin's heart now in his body, would it mean that he essentially would have his memories as well? AND HE DOES.

Of course it hasnt be explicitly said (as far as i know) but theres so much that points towards it.

Like the way he spoke about columbina as well as rerir and dainsleif in the AQ, also LOTS of the things in his official introduction

I really like the second one because it shows that he had past durin'sfeelingstransferred to him as well. because up until now I feel like he pictured him as a scary big dragon who just wanted to destroy everything

But then he got to see things through his viewpoint; that he never wanted to hurt anybody, he was unaware. he thought that his friends betrayed him for no reason, his anger wasnt out of hatred—he wanted to protect himself from being hurt

AND IT MAKES ME WANT TO CRY VRO.

Just imagine, you turned into a human just a few weeks ago and now youre PLAGUED by painful memories thatarent even yours

And to make it worse, albedo drags him all the way to nod-krai to meet with the grandmaster of favonius, the moonchanter of the frost moon scions, a lightkeeper, the head of the curatorium of secrets, THE LITERAL MOON GODDESS and the world-famous traveler and paimon

To top it off? HE MADE HIM FIGHT AGAINST A FRICKIN KHAENRI'AHN SINNER AFTER LIKE TWO DAYS OF ARRIVING IN NOD-KRAI

And last but not least,fun facts !!

He likes cooking (he uses his pyro to cook, but sometimes he accidentally burns his dishes) and loves meat! but he hates veggies bc hes picky

He likes jumping in puddles (uwahh hes so cute)

He loves animals but they always get scared of him because they think hes a dragon, so when an animal gets close out of free will he stays VERY still so they wont run off

So I was scrolling the Reddit homepage (I promise this is related mods) when I came across a photo of this place called Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland.

And I was immediately reminded of the funny hexagon rocks in Nod-Krai that I thought were just a cool design choice.

These are just a few examples, these hexagon rocks are all over.

So then the Genshin Lore Brainrot kicked in and I had to know why and how this occurs, and see if I could connect any of it back to Nod-Krai lore. And, I might’ve found something. Not something big, but something…

So to summarize, these hexagon rocks form because of a phenomenon calledcolumnar jointing. (link goes to the Wikipedia article) This occurs in almost exclusively igneous rocks. The razor language of how they form is sometimes the lava cools funny, and then groundwater begins to flow in the cracks, which makes the polygonal shapes, which are usually hexagons. (If you want the actual details on how this works, please read the article, I’m not explaining obscure geological phenomena to a fandom where half the people can’t read)

Anyways, these funny hexagons are all over Nod-Krai. And Ireland is sort of close to the Nordic and Baltic countries that the region is based on. So what can we learn from this? Well, Nod-Krai is built on the remains of a moon. So these rock formations are probably made out of moon rock stuff. And because this phenomenon pretty much only occurs in igneous rock, we can reason that the moons are made out of some igneous rock genshin fantasy substance thing. Which means they used to be HOT and lavalike. So when the dragons put moons in the sky, they might’ve been pretty hot, and slowly cooled. Reminds me of the vibes of the Ancient Sacred Mountain…

So yeah, the moons were probably made out of igneous rock. What can we learn from this? I have no idea, but dragonsare fire-y. Seemed worth mentioning. This has to be the most random lore post I’ve ever made, so thanks for reading, and happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate!
