Sharp Point[1] is a town in theCrownlands, the region controlled directly by theIron Throne inKing's Landing. The town is located north ofStonedance, at the end of a peninsula where the southern portion ofBlackwater Bay meets theNarrow Sea.
History[]
House of the Dragon: Season 2[]
In a rage after theRed Sowing,Aemond Targaryen flies to theBlack-aligned Sharp Point onVhagar andburns it to its stones.[2]
In the books[]
In theA Song of Ice and Fire novels, Sharp Point is located at the end of Massey's Hook and is the seat ofHouse Bar Emmon, a noble house sworn toDragonstone. The castle is a large watchtower upon which a great fire burns atop.
There is no mention in the books of any event that took place in Sharp Point.
