Hello! o/ Really like the pack, been using it for a while and just noticed you have added the fonts files. Any chance of getting the fonts with the outlines like in the spritesheet as a font file? The outline in unity is no good :( Also any plans for a health and resource orb system like in poe? :))
Hello, thank you! I can't make the font files (.ttf, .otf) have the outlines included since they have to be just 1 colour to work. But I could make a 2nd font you can use as the outline, and then you would add the normal font on top in a different colour, thus achieving the effect I did manually in the images. I'll add it to my list, not sure when I'll be able to do it though!
About the orbs..you mean the big ones at the left and right of screen that show hp/resource? Yeah that's a cool idea! I'll think about it
Hi, thanks for your asset pack. They're very nice, but I have a question. I noticed that in some of your examples, you have assets of different dimensions than those included in the pack. How can I enlarge, for example, the box asset without affecting the pixel size? Sorry for my English; it's not my native language. :D
Hello there! Thanks, I'm glad you like them :)
In the pack I include 1x, 2x and 3x versions of each asset. If you want to enlarge them to a bigger multiple, you need to use an image editor such as Aseprite, Photoshop or Gimp, and scale it to the desired size. To retain the pixel look and ratio, you need to make sure the "Nearest neighbour" scaling method is activated, and make sure you only scale to even multiples (so for example, you can safely enlarge them to 600% to obtain a 6x version, but not 566% or you'd break the pixel ratio).
Hope you understand my explanation, but let me know if you have further questions.
There's some bubbles in our Heroes pack (https://franuka.itch.io/fantasy-rpg-heroes-pack). I might add some extra expressions, though!
Hi! No problem. Pixel art is the most easiest thing to increase resolution. In graphical programs you can just scale it flawlessly with the method nearest neighbor. In my game engine - Godot you just need to choose the right import option in settings. I guess Unity also should have something like this. After that you just need to use right scalable object in your editor. I am sorry that I can't help better, I don't know Unity specifics. And English is also no my native language😁
