I was impressed by the stylish design and modern interiors of the hotel. The chic lobby with its black canopy chairs, white pillows, and artfully arranged frames created a sophisticated ambiance. The stunning sea views throughout the property added to the overall charm.
The public areas, such as stairs, floors, and greens, could benefit from more frequent cleaning and better maintenance.

I like the design, the room, the view, the poolside, the friendly and efficient staffs.
The gym was not ready yet, as the hotel is still in construction, even if on the website, they said they were Gym facilities. The restaurant is a bit expensible for what it had too offer.

The hotel is well designed architecturally. Buildings and landscaping are very well maintained. Breakfast selection and quality is one of the best that I ever had. The restaurant near the pool bar serves great and tasty thai food, price is fair but selection is limited. Big clean bedroom and huge bed with balcony overlooking the sea. The staff were very hospitable and overall service is top notch.

The Galleri By Katathani is a remarkable hotel that caters to the needs of senior guests. The hotel's decoration is tastefully done, exuding an elegant and calming ambiance. With its comfortable seating areas and well-designed layout, it offers a perfect setting for relaxing and enjoying the stunning views of the sea. The hotel's general areas are easily accessible, making it convenient for senior people to navigate and enjoy their stay.
It would have been even more delightful if the children working there were more attentive and considerate towards senior guests.

The design of the hotel is really good. Lots of attention to detail. Sweaming pool, area arround and the views are just great! Staff - very helpful!!!
The hotel is situated on a steep hill and about 10-15 minutes walk from the beach and restaurants. Which is ok on the way down , but going up would be a test even for a fit person. The hotel has a shuttle bus to the beach at 10am and coming back at 4pm which you have to book in advance. Convenient but should be more often rather than just 2ce a day. They also offer a taxi at 300bt , where on the way back from the beach tuk-tuk will charge you 200bt Breakfast is very good for what they offer, would be nice to have more choice. No lift to your room if you stay lower end rooms, ( lost of stairs to get to the reception) but they are helpful to pick you up when you call for a buggy.

We had a delightful stay at this luxurious hotel on top of the hill above the beautiful beach. The location offered magnificent views, especially from the pool area where we spent most of our time. The restaurant and bar by the pool were fantastic, serving delicious food and drinks at reasonable prices. The rooms had a unique and modern design, with spaciousness and a huge, comfortable bed. Everything was kept impeccably clean and in excellent condition. The staff, although some had limited English, were friendly and accommodating. We also appreciated the reliable and fast wifi throughout our stay.

The design of the room is very special, quiet, very comfortable bed.
The room through the window view is not very good, from the room to the front desk to sit in the electric car, isn't very convenient.

The staff at the hotel were awesome, very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, with mesmerizing views and easy access to the beach. The food was also fantastic, especially the Thai dishes. The rooms were spacious, clean and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The infinity pool was the best feature of the hotel, with a stunning view, where we relaxed with our drinks and watched spectacular sunsets.
The lack of cleanliness in some public areas, like hallways and stairs., the transportation service to the beach could have been more frequent to match guests' needs.

The hotel is absolutely stunning. Staff is friendly, the rooms are big and very well designed, with extremely comfy beds, a great bathroom with bath and shower and a bunch of complimentary stuff. The infinity pool is amazing, with a fantastic view on all of the surroundings, including Kata and Kata Noi, great lounge chairs and very nice, decently priced cocktails. Easily the nicest hotel we ever stayed in.
The walk up the hill is extremely steep. It only takes 5-10 minutes tops to get to Kata and Kata Noi, but coming back is a real pain. Do not take a tuk-tuk from the tuk-tuk maffia however, they try to charge 200 baht for a 2 minute ride. I was very disappointed that the staff would not get us a meter cab back to the airport, we only paid 600 baht to get to the hotel but had no choice but to pay 1200 baht for a terrifying ride to the airport. The driver intentionally skipped every red light, consistently used the motorcycle lane or service lane to pass by other vehicles waiting to go the same direction and even left us in the car for 10 minutes without telling us where he went. Not to mention the Thai reggae music he played loudly all the way there (over 1 hour, and yes, that is as terrible as it sounds). Do yourself a favor and look up the phone numbers to the meter taxi companies before you leave! Food in Kata Town was terrible by the way, not worth the walk down, would recommend the small (mostly empty) restaurant at the corner of the road to go to the hotel, decent Thai food at decent prices, nice cocktails and friendly ladies running the place.

We stayed at foto Hotel in February 2013. The hotel is quite new and modern, the rooms are specious. We stayed in Ozon Hall and had jacuzzi on the terrace. If you want to stay at this hotel, you definitely need a motoroller, otherwise the way to and from the sea will be quite long and you have to climb to a hill every day.
I would say there are a lot of negative sides at this hotel as well : 1) very slow internet, we had to work during our stay and that was imposssible to do, asked the personal why is that so, but the answer was - we can not do anything., 2) personal- very low qualified, if any problem- most probably you wont have any help or solution for it, 3) breakfast- every day all the same, you can choose some omlet or thai noodles, no cheese or normal ham, no jogurts or anything that we europoean people are used to 4) no elevator at hotel, you can use club car to get to your room, but during our stay it was broken for 5 days and noone cares how you get to your rooms, use the steps! 5) if you stay at the pool you will hear the same music all the time, by the end of the stay I thought I will go crazy from it:) but the rest was great and we had very nice holiday in Thailand!

Amazing design. The hotel has really a lot of little personal touches that shows you that they really put a lot of thought into everything. There is for example a little Mosquito Repellant in the room for use. Also they stock the fridge with 2 cans of coke, 2 yakult and some jello every day (aside the 4 bottles of water)! Also the complementary french press coffee is excellent. The facility itself is really beautiful and if you love design this is the place for you to stay. It's not too big and has a private boutique feel to it. There is free wi-fi everywhere and you have to try their cocktails (they have a happy hour twice a day) - they are fantastic. Overall we were more than impressed during our stay and can only recommend it to others!
The breakfast could have had a bit more choice at the buffet for that price. If you're staying for more than maybe 2 nights it gets a bit boring and is a bit pricey for what they offer. They didn't always replace the towels in the room but after calling the reception they brought up new ones immediately.

First of all, I must say that this was my first trip to Thailand and I absolutely loved it and I cannot wait to go back and I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again. This hotel was fantastic, the rooms were clean and very spacious. My Sea View room had a brilliant view from the balcony. The sea view rooms each had a hot tub on the balcony as well as a comfortable seating area. The rooms were extremely spacious and very well decorated. The rooms were kept very clean and tidy with plenty of space for my belongings(I do imagine that some people would have an issue with the open wardrobe or if there were 2 people, space may become an issue). The shower was fantastic, the shampoos and shower gel had amazing, refreshing fragrances to them. The mini bar in the room was complimentary(containing 2 cans of coke(although I would have preferred Diet Coke), mini jelly shot things(presumably aimed towards kids), 4 bottles of water and bizarrely, 2 Yakult. There were also 2 small packs of savoury crisps. The staff in the hotel were brilliant, and very friendly. Easily approachable and willing to help with anything. The pool was situated on top of the hotel and had a full view off the bay surrounding the area. The pool also contained a small hot tub style part to it which was very nice to relax in. The restaurant could be found just by the pool. Although the menu was very limited, the food was fantastic. I ate in the hotel on 2 occasions and loved the food. I would suggest looking at the menu in advance as it may not be to everybody's taste and a last minute hike into Kata village is the last thing you need. This hotel, all in all, was brilliant. The food was fantastic, the view amazing and the staff were brilliant. There were services that were on offer that was unexpected...for example, a Kodak printing booth. There were 2 Apple Macs for guest usage located in the reception area.
There was only 1 downside I had with this hotel and that was the location of it....obviously to get the views that it has, the hotel has to be situated up a hill. The only road from Kata village up to the hotel was a fairly steep hill. The hotel offered a shuttle down to the village 3 times a day and back up to the hotel twice a day. I do feel that based on the location, the shuttle should possibly have been run a bit more frequently...however, I was very thankful of the exercise. Not the hotels fault in the slightest but to walk back to the hotel meant you had to walk by a bar (I think it was called the Tamarind) which in itself isn't an issue, however, as I was there alone, I was getting harassed by the 4/5 female staff that worked there every time I walked past...to the point that if they saw me in the distance, I could hear them call the others over to speak to me or harass me. This last point was not a fault of the hotel and from what I could see, people that were in couples or groups were spoken to in a more civilised manner. Kata is a small area but I found there to be plenty to do over six days when you consider some tours and travelling around that area of Thailand, i.e. Kata, Karon, Chalong, Phuket Town etc.
