CARCARÁ! is an adventure site named after the South American falconCrested Caracara. The mice find themselves in an abandoned garden under the control of this predator.
Theobaldo, the Caracarais known for hiding an amazing trove in his nest on top of the tallest tree in the abandoned garden. And while he's asleep when the mice arrive in his territory, he might wake up anytime!
The "abandoned garden" theme introduces new items, equipment, spells, and NPCs. The adventure has small references to common elements found in different gardens I visited, from public places to my grandma's house. All of it is presented organically and subtly, so the design won't alienate people who have not experienced these references.
The free sample gives enough to add the Caracara to any adventure, so if you came to this project looking for an iconic antagonist, you can get it for free! Purchasing the full adventure will give you all the goodness of the adventure site, including new spells, items, and creatures!

CARCARÁ! é um local de aventura que leva o nome do falcão sul-americano. Os ratos se encontram em um jardim abandonado sob o controle deste predador.
Theobaldo, o Carcaráé conhecido por esconder um tesouro incrível em seu ninho no topo da árvore mais alta do jardim abandonado. E enquanto ele dorme quando os ratos chegam em seu território, ele pode acordar a qualquer momento!
O tema "jardim abandonado" apresenta novos itens, equipamentos, magias e NPCs. A aventura tem pequenas referências a elementos comuns encontrados em diferentes jardins que visitei, de lugares públicos até a casa da minha avó. Tudo isso é apresentado de forma orgânica e sutil, para não alienar as pessoas que não conhecem as referências.

The site is perfect for exploration-based adventures, offering a richly detailed environment that provides players with an open-ended and engaging space without restricting their freedom. There are multiple ways to navigate the location, and it’s clear that the order and manner in which the PCs explore each area can drastically change the experience.
The faction design is also a standout feature, making the adventure incredibly dynamic: the NPCs have distinct interests, and each group has its own charm — both in their descriptions and in Foletto’s marvelous illustrations.
