European labs

If your lab is based in Europe and you would like to contribute to saving FlyBase and keep its functionalities preserved, we are collecting donations through the University of Cambridge, UK, via the following link:

U.S. and other non-European countries

You can contribute by following this link to theIndiana University Foundation webpage for the BDSC Fund. If you would like your funds to support FlyBase, please click on the box "donate in honor of" and type in the name "FlyBase." You may need to enter "FlyBase" twice in the form. You will receive a receipt for your donation. Donations are deductible under U.S. tax regulations. The IU Foundation will send appropriate tax-related documentation of your donation in January of the year following your contribution.

We cannot provide invoices currently but are in the process of establishing a separate "user fee" fund for which we will be able to invoice in the near future.

We currently suggest donations of $400 for small labs and $1,500 for large labs, but the need is great so please donate as much as you can. Thank you for your support of FlyBase.
