Wrath (Japanese:怒りAnger) is a combatskill which debuted inFire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. This skill allows it users to have a higher chance of inflictingcritical hits in disadvantaged situations. In most games this comes in the form of increasing or even maximizing the user'scritical rate when they are low onHP; as with most skills, the degree and specific effect varies slightly from game to game.
Effects identical to those of Wrath are granted by thePrayer Ring inFire Emblem Gaiden, and its seemingly unused data in the remake may indicate the Prayer Ring would grant Wrath like in the original rather thanMiracle, but this was changed later in development.
InHeroes, Wrath is a three-tiered type B passive skill (whose individiual tiers areWrath 1,Wrath 2, andWrath 3 in order from lowest to highest). Like other critical-oriented effects from the mainFire Emblem series adapted to theHeroes system, Wrath reduces the cooldown count for special skills when triggered by an attack while the user's HP is at or below a certain threshold, and also boosts damage dealt by any special skill triggered in this fashion; the HP threshold required to activate Wrath increases with the skill's tier.

Trivia
- The skill assignment description in the North American version ofRadiant Dawn erroneously claims Wrath activates when the unit has 20% or less of its HP, which is only true for the Japanese version. Additionally, the North American version says that it only has a certain chance of activating, even though the activation rate for the skill is 100% in the North American and PAL versions of the game.These were corrected in the PAL releases.
