TheWind Sage (Japanese:風の賢者ウインドセイジWind Sage) is anadvanced magicalclass which is exclusive toFire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. The class is one ofRadiant Dawn's element-specialized versions of theSage class of otherFire Emblem series games, along with theFire Sage,Thunder Sage,Light Sage andDark Sage. It is, at least hypothetically, thepromoted form of theWind Mage class, and as its name suggests, it specializes inwind magic while also being able to usefire magic andthunder magic. Wind Sages, in turn, promote to theArch Sage class.

The class's stats are very similar to the other Sage classes ofRadiant Dawn, with highmagic,skill andspeed, and as a result the class's members deal in pure magical offense. The lowweight of wind tomes leads to Wind Sages tending to be the nimblest of the Sage variants, gaining superiorattack speed andavoid from its being relatively unhindered by its weapons. A Wind Sage's mastery of wind magic allows them to be particularlyeffective against flyers and bird-typelaguz. However, like all Sage variants, they are frail owing to their lowHP anddefense.
