TheWarlock (Japanese:ウォーロックWarlock) is anadvanced magicalclass which debuted inFire Emblem: Three Houses. It is the successor of the earlierMage class.
While the Warlock,Bishop, andDark Bishop all function as advanced infantry magic classes, all sharing highresistance, the Warlock differentiates itself from the others by focusing primarily onblack magic. Its class skills both enhance their potency and number of uses, and its stats provide slightly moremagic than the Bishop, and morespeed than both of the other two. As a result, the Warlock functions as more of a pure offensive caster, filling a role similar to theSage of previous games. Like most other magic classes in the game, however, the Warlock suffers from poormovement and lacklusterdefense.
