Trivia

  • The Vestal's portraits and models are edited versions ofRinea's portraits and models as aWitch, while their map sprites are completely identical.
  • In dungeon exploration, the Vestal displays highly unusual behavior due to having drastically different settings for their movement and AI.
    • Their walking speed—the speed at which an encounter moves when they have not noticed Alm or Celica—is set to 2.10, which is faster than the running speeds of most other dungeon encounters (all other encounters have a walking speed of 0.50, and a running speed between 1.50 and 2.10).
    • Their running speed—the speed at which an encounter actively pursues Alm or Celica—is set to 120.00, faster than anything else in the game by a wide margin; this makes it near-impossible to escape from a Vestal once she begins chasing Alm or Celica.
    • Their search radius—the radius at which an encounter will investigate any noise, such as the breaking of pots or crates—is set to 40.00, which is much lower than other dungeon encounters (all other encounters have this set to between 70.00 and 150.00). This is the primary cause as to why Vestals may fail to track Alm or Celica, as they must get closer to the Vestal than usual to attract their attention; even if she discovers them, if they leave the search radius before the Vestal begins chasing them (0.7 seconds if the Vestal is investigating; 0.5 seconds if they were already discovered), she will not attempt to pursue and will merely investigate.
