Vasto (オーリオOlio) is aPlegian troop captain and the boss ofchapter 7 ofFire Emblem Awakening. Vasto was instructed to take a Ylisseanhierarch into protection, but chooses to go back on those instructions and has one of his subordinates kill the hierarch. Attempting to secure theFire Emblem andEmmeryn, he takes onChrom and theShepherds. Although he eventually falls to the Shepherds, he does use his dying words to warn them of an impending Plegian invasion.
