Ullr (pronounced /⁠ˈuːlɚ⁠/^[key][1]; Japanese:ウルUlir), dubbed the "Bowmaster" (Japanese:弓使いBow User), was a member of theTwelve Crusaders, the original wielder ofYewfelle and the founder ofGrannvale's HouseYngvi.

Biography

As with the other Crusaders, Ullr was a warrior fighting in a revolution against the tyranny of theLoptrian Empire, and was one of the survivors barricaded inDahna Fortress when the tide turned against their movement. It was at this fortress that theMiracle of Dahna occurred, changing the tide of the war: Ullr was chosen by an unidentified member of the twelvedragon "gods" who descended upon the fortress, to undergo ablood-bond with said dragon, transforming her into one of the Crusaders. She was grantedYewfelle, sealed to her new holy lineage, by this dragon.

With the other Crusaders, Ullr fought in the rest of theHoly War and contributed to the downfall of the Loptrian Empire. At the war's conclusion, Ullr and five other Crusaders founded the six states of Grannvale, the kingdom founded by their leader SaintHeim, with Ullr founding Yngvi.

Ullr is the game's twenty-second Mythic Hero, and was added to the game in a dedicated Mythic Hero update, made available for summoning as part of a summoning event released on July 29, 2021. Only one variation of Ullr is currently available inHeroes, based on her appearance inGenealogy of the Holy War.

Ullr: The Bowmaster
The continent of Jugdral was once ruled over by the Loptr Empire, worshipers of the dark god Loptous. That is, until the empire was overthrown by the 12 crusaders…and today I'll be introducing you to Ullr, one of their number!	The Loptr Empire ruled Jugdral with an iron fist, and enforced the sacrifice of children in the name of Loptous. Though some people banded together to form a rebel army, they were no match for the empire, which was under the dark god's protection.	And then, when it seemed like the rebels' fate was sealed, twelve gods descended, coming to their aid! It was then that Ullr, one of the rebels, received a special power, and with it the right to wield the sacred bow Yewfelle.	With the boon of the gods, the rebels succeeded in overthrowing the Loptr Empire. Ullr's skill in battle was so outstanding that people came to know her as a master of the bow—that's a resounding endorsement if I ever heard one!
