Two Kings is the twelfth chapter ofFire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes on the Golden Wildfire route.

Plot

Arval remindsShez ofMyson, a general involved inthe battle at Ailell who seemed to be affiliated withthe mysterious faction rather than the Empire orJeralt's Mercenaries, leading Shez to wonder if some connection exists between themself and the mysterious faction.Claude explains ifFaerghus were to be completely annihilated,Edelgard would likely come afterLeicester next. In order to prevent that, Claude intends to forceDimitri to sever ties with the Central Church and then personally killRhea, ensuring that Edelgard has no furthercausus belli to continue the war. Meanwhile, Dimitri and his retainers realize that the Federation cannot hope to conquer Faerghus and correctly deduce that they mean to destroy the Central Church.Rodrigue points out that they could avoid a battle by abandoning the Church, but Dimitri still hopes that they can save both the Kingdom and the Church.

The Federation besieges Fhirdiad and defeats Dimitri, forcing him to retreat into the castle. However, before they can finish him off, a messenger arrives informing Claude that chaos has erupted in Ordelia, causing him to speculate the involvement of the mysterious faction and forcing him to order a full retreat. Dimitri learns of Claude's retreat and correctly deduces that something has happened in Leicester.
