Key information revealed in this chapter appears to have been foreshadowed in Book III's introduction movie. One of the foreshadowed points is the death of theSharena of the alternate version ofAskr where this chapter is set; without this chapter's context, however, a sizable portion of the fandom initially interpreted this particular foreshadowed point as instead foreshadowing the impending death of the primary version of Sharena.
