| “ | I wanted to help you, so I left the city... But then I was captured by a thief named Perne, and he made me his slave... | ” | — Tina toSafy inChapter 12x |

Tina (Japanese:ティナTina) is a playablepriest inFire Emblem: Thracia 776. She is held captive by the leader of theDandelion Bandits,Perne, because of her ability to use theThief andUnlock staves.
Biography
After Tina's elder sister,Safy, leftTarrah to find people to fight theEmpire Tina herself grew restless. Eventually, Tina left Tarrah to look for Safy. She didn't get very far, only making it to Dacia Forest before being abducted byPerne and theDandelion Bandits. After Perne "tortured" her, by putting bugs on her face, she agreed to use herThief andUnlock staves to assist the group in stealing from nobles.[2]
DuringChapter 12 Tina briefly appears to giveSalem, a new member of the Dandelion Bandits, dinner since he is taking up the night watch. Salem tells Tina that he'll help her look for her sister later when his injuries have healed.
When Leif's forces invade Dandelion mansion inChapter 12x Perne orders Tina to steal from the intruders with herThief staff, though he has to threaten her with the bugs again before she complies. During the battle Safy, who has been traveling with Leif's forces, meets up with Tina in the mansion and scolds her for wandering away from Tarrah. Regardless, Tina is very happy to see her sister.
Tina accompanies Leif's liberation army until at least the liberation ofMunster. Her involvement, if any, with the war after Leif's forces merged withSeliph's is unknown, as she does not appear inFire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War.

Analysis
| This character analysis section may not be accurate to every player's experience. |
Tina is a very interesting unit. She comes recruited at level 1 with pitiful base stats outside of her very high luck and an E rank in staves. In fact, with her basemagic at 3 and lowly baseskill of 1 with a low growth in the latter, Tina's heals will be very weak and are likely to miss. She will be a poor healer in almost every aspect.
However, Tina's strengths come from her two personalstaves:Thief andUnlock. The Unlock staff allows Tina to unlock any door, chest, or bridge on the map, and the Thief staff gives her the power tosteal any item from any unit on the map, as long as Tina'smagic is higher than that unit's. Because only Tina can wield these staves, she has certain, chapter specific uses such as obtaining an incredibly difficultVouge inChapter 16B or unlocking certain, normally unreachable, chests inChapter 18, giving her a niche use in specific situations. Because the Thief staff removes the targeted item, it can also be used to disarm dangerous enemies or bosses of powerful staves or weapons, which is especially notable against bosses on thrones who are immune to status staves. It is also useful for certain items that are either too heavy to steal (the Thief staff ignoresweight) or located in very out-of-the way locations. Being able to steal items with Tina may require the use of either aMagic Up staff orPure Water, but doing so can be very helpful in many scenarios. Luckily, while the staves do include the possibility of missing, Tina has a high number ofmovement stars, five, which gives her a one out of four chance of getting a second turn and trying again.
Every time she uses one of her personal staves, she gains +10 staff exp. Additionally, whenever she misses, she will gain said staff exp and experience points without using up a use of one of her staves, something that also applies to other healers. Combined with a promotion, Tina can reliably obtain a high staff rank during the late game, where staff utility is very valuable.
Overall, Tina offers a lot of unique utility with her personal staves, but she will need some work to use her tools effectively.

There is one variation of Tina available inHeroes.
Personality
Tina is a restless and somewhat reckless girl; wandering away fromTarrah in search of her elder sisterSafy was quite dangerous, considering theGrannvale Empire's troops have been enclosing on the city due to rebellion. When she ends up abducted byPerne she is easily convinced to do his bidding, which appears to mostly be stealing things. It is evident that she is afraid of bugs, as even just the threat of bugs from Perne earns her cooperation.
Salem is sympathetic to Tina's situation, offering to take her to look for her older sister later. Tina appears to like Salem as well; she makes him dinner, presumably of her own volition, when Salem has the night watch.
Endings
Tina, Playful Cleric
Even after returning to Tarrah, Tina never was able to sit still. Ever oblivious, she would often go wandering about unattended, worrying those around her, especially her sister. Did the day ever come where she would finally settle down? We'll never know, since no such records exist.
