As I understand it, most of the soldiers captured throughout Thracia are sent here. It's extremely likely that troops captured from our army are in this very camp - yet this chance will be squandered if you don't hurry.
Leif and a group of his soldiers enter Fort Danzig to free the prisoners before they are executed. The leader of the fortress garrison,Zaom, instructs his soldiers to defend the fortress.
Meanwhile,August informs Leif that his previously captured soldiers are probably in this fortress. However, he also warns the prince that he must hurry – a battalion of Loptr Mages is on its way, which Leif suspects are the Welkenrosen.
Leif's troops eventually escape the fortress. Shortly after,Julius andIshtar arrive at the fortress and Julius muses on the ineptitude of HouseFriege, supposedly proven by their struggle to holdConnacht against Seliph and their failure to protect Fort Danzig from Leif. Ishtar apologizes, but Julius says she is not to blame and urges her to go with him toMiletos instead of joining the fight in Connacht. Supposedly,Hilda invited him and he wants to spend some time with Ishtar there. Ishtar mentions that her mother Hilda is hunting children, but Julius makes no comment. Julius then tells Ishtar that she must sendReinhardt away because he cannot stand the presence of the general. Ishtar tries to protest by saying that Reinhardt has always looked out for her, but Julius claims that he hates the way Reinhardt looks at her and threatens to claw his eyes out. Ishtar is able to negotiate that Reinhardt will only be sent home, and then she and Julius leave the fort.
Units are arranged based on their position in deployment order after Leif.
Placement of returning units captured in previous chapters.
Additionally, units that werecaptured in previous chapters will return here as prisoners in the cells. They are positioned based on their place in deployment order in the chapter they were captured, with units captured in later chapters placed ahead of those captured in earlier ones.

Stats with two figures separated by a ~ are presented as a range, representing stats that vary due to random growths. The figures to the left and right of the ~ are the stat's minimum and maximum possible values respectively.
This section details unofficial strategies that may help with completion of the chapter. This may not work for everybody.
As mentioned already, all units prior to this chapter that werecaptured by enemies without being reclaimed by the player or left behind inescape chapters will reappear here for recruitment.
This is your only opportunity to reclaim your captured units. After this chapter, any units that get captured/left behind are gone for good (in other words, they're effectivelydead for the remainder of the playthrough).
Trivia
There are positions for sixty-four prisoners; the player can have a maximum of forty-three units captured by this chapter, so the remaining twenty-one go unused.
