The Hour of Vengeance is the secret fifteenth chapter ofFire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes on all three routes. It can only be played ifByleth andJeralt were previously recruited. It only consists of one battle,Struggling Against Shadows.

Plot

Shez, now possessed byArval, attempts to killByleth and destroySothis. However, Shez briefly retakes control of their body, giving Byleth time to retreat. Meanwhile, a messenger informs the main lord thatthose who slither in the dark are preparing to intercept them and that Shez has attacked Byleth. The main lord reinforces Byleth and subdues Shez. As the other two lords arrive on the scene, the main lord defeatsSolon, leader of those who slither in the dark's forces and the man who impersonatedTomas atGarreg Mach Monastery. The Arval-possessed Shez escapes captivity and murders Solon, using him as a ritual sacrifice to banish Shez,Edelgard,Dimitri, andClaude to another dimension. In the other dimension, Arval encounters a man bearing their appearance who declares his intention to retake the surface world for his people. Arval realizes that they were created to pave the way for the man's return and then become him.

S Rank requirements

Strategy

This chapter has one of the strictest time requirements in the game. To obtain an S rank in this chapter, it is recommended to spread out your units between the left and the right path, asShez andByleth will teleport between the paths, and the player will have to take care ofBias at the same time. Lance-wielding units with abattalion that is strong against swords are recommended to swiftly take out Shez. Additionally,gauntlet-wielders with a battalion that is strong against tomes are recommended to be placed toward the left side, asBias and later the chapter's main bossSolon will appear there and are both weak to them.

When replaying the chapter at theRecord Keeper, you will be able to deployShez, who will likely be among your strongest units. This can make obtaining the S rank much easier.
