The Battle for the Locket (Japanese:首飾りの攻防Offense and Defense of the Necklace) is the third chapter ofFire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes on the Golden Wildfire route. This chapter consists solely of a battle map, titledThe Defense of Fódlan's Locket.
Plot

AsShez andArval brood over the latter's possible connection toKronya and her ilk,Claude receives an urgent missive from House Goneril explaining that the largestAlmyran army amassed since the construction ofFódlan's Locket is preparing to invadeLeicester and the head of House Goneril,Holst, needs all the reinforcements he can get. Together with the only knight the Church can spare,Shamir, theGolden Deer march for Leicester's eastern border.
The head of the invaders, the Almyran royalShahid, orders his subcommanderNader to storm Fódlan's Locket in order to advance his claim to the throne and get one over on his hated brother Khalid. The Golden Deer meet with Holst, take up the defense of the Locket, and drive off the Almyran invaders. Claude elects to allow Shahid to flee in order to avoid provoking further reprisal from Almyra. In the aftermath, Claude reveals he has commissioned the aid of Margrave Edmund to create a budget for repairs and restorations to the Locket, earning Holst's approval. Claude convinces Shez to remain in Leicester with him.
In light of the attempted Almyran invasion of Leicester, in addition toa coup in Adrestia anda succession crisis in Faerghus, Rhea closes the Officer's Academy and sends the students home.

This battle is very heavy on enemy Wyvern Riders. It is wise to make Ignatz one of your directly controlled party members, as bows rip right through them.
