The Astral Temple (Japanese:星の神殿Astral temple) is adungeon appearing inFire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia and is accessed throughdownloadable content. The Astral Temple is part of the first series of DLC releases.
This dungeon was first made available on April 20, 2017 in Japan, May 19, 2017 in North America and Europe, and May 20, 2017 in Australia and New-Zealand.
In this dungeon, rare items such as theStar Shards can be obtained either by enemies' drops or by breaking the pots.
Plot
- Main article:The Astral Temple/Script
At the entrance to the temple, a bishop explains that it was built to worship theManaketes, housing their valuable burial goods. However, a recent war had caused the temple to fall into disrepair, despite soldiers' attempts to defend it. The bishop then urgesAlm orCelica's party to enter the temple and rout the tomb robbers that have come to the temple in the war's aftermath, stating that they can keep whatever treasures they find.
