Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn

TheTaksh (Japanese:タクシュTakhsh) is a rarecrossbow weapon which appears only inFire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. It is the game's middle-of-the-road crossbow, and in addition to its respectablemight, it also offers an increasedcrit stat which works effectively with the highcritical hit rates of the four crossbow-wielding classes: theSniper,Marksman,Warrior, andReaver.

Like the other crossbows but unlike regular bows, the Taksh can can attack adjacent and distant enemies alike. In exchange its damage calculation completely ignores the user'sstrength stat and is based only on its own might, giving it a fixed, mostly consistent damage output no matter who uses it.
