TheSwordslayer (Japanese:ソードキラーSwordkiller) is a weapon introduced inFire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem which at different points in theFire Emblem series has been asword and anaxe. In both forms it performs the same role, as a weapon which ishighly effective against sword-wielding infantry classes such as theMercenary andMyrmidon. As an axe in theGame Boy Advance games it also reverses theweapon triangle, making it strong against swords and weak againstlances, and doubles the weapon triangle's effects.
