Swordfaire (Japanese:剣の達人Sword Expert) is a combatskill which debuted inFire Emblem Awakening. It is a class skill learned solely bySwordmasters inAwakening andFates while inThree Houses, all advanced-rank and master-rank classes having a predisposition for swords such asAssassin andMortal Savant have access to it as a base skill. Furthermore, inThree Houses, any unit who reached the maximum skill level of S+ in sword will also unlock the skill. InAwakening, it boosts the user's offensive stats when equipping asword, while inFates andThree Houses it increases the user'sattack stat if the user is wielding a sword or akatana inFates.
