TheSword Flier (Japanese:ソードペガサスSword Pegasus) is abase flying,pegasus-mountedclass which debuted inFire Emblem Engage. It is functionally similar to thePegasus Knight andSky Knight classes of previous entries in theFire Emblem series, being basic flying classes that can only use a single weapon type; unlike the previous two however, the Sword Flier usesswords instead oflances.

Much like the class's predecessors, Sword Fliers are known for having highspeed andresistance that make them well-suited for defeating magic-wielding enemies. However, they are vulnerable against stronger physical enemies due to their lowHP anddefense, and they arecritically weak tobows.

Sword Fliers maypromote to eitherGriffin Knight orWyvern Knight.
