Squad Ace V (Japanese:第２２迷宮の覇者Champion of the twenty-second labyrinth) is a Sacred Seal skill which debuted inFire Emblem Heroes; it exists in three tiers:Squad Ace V 1,Squad Ace V 2, andSquad Ace V 3. Squad Ace V is functionally identical to theDefense + skill, increasing the user'sdefense; additionally, as it is not a duplicate of the Defense + seal or the functionally-identicalSquad Ace B,G,L,Q, orAA seals, a unit may possess all seals at the same time.

The Squad Ace V 1 seal may be obtained upon successful completion of the twenty-secondSquad Assault challenge; it is one of the Sacred Seals that cannot be initially created through theSacred Seal Forge. Tiers 2 and 3 must be obtained via forging in the Sacred Seal Forge.
