Sol (weapon)

Sol (Japanese:太陽Sun) is a weapon first appearing inFire Emblem Gaiden. InGaiden, it is alance which is an extremely rare random drop fromMogall. It has a very high might stat of twenty. InFire Emblem Awakening, it is aregaliasword wielded byWalhart with the effect of granting its wielder theSol skill. InFire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, it is similar to itsGaiden appearance, but its might stat is reduced by five. Using it enough times unlocks acombat art known asSolar Thrust, which costs ten HP to use but increases damage output by twenty and hit rate by fifteen. It is obtained by evolving certainRusted Lances.
InFire Emblem Heroes, the localization instead calls this weaponSol Lance, and in this game it is apersonal weapon ofForsyth. In addition to boosting its wielder'sResistance at all times, it heals its wielder whenever dealing damage to its target during combat.

Trivia
- Sol has the highest might of any weapon inGaiden, although it is beaten out by the magic spellRagnarok. In the remake, it is tied with theLightning Sword, and is beaten out by the magic spells Ragnarok,Sagittae, and the unusedApocalypse.
