Slayer (Japanese:魔物特効Monster Effectiveness) is a combatskill which was introduced inFire Emblem Gaiden. Exclusive to theFalcon Knight class inGaiden and theBishop class inThe Sacred Stones, it causes all attacks from any weapon usable by the user to beeffective againstmonsters.

Trivia
- InGaiden, when an attack hits with Slayer active, small fairies (similar to those fromSeraphim, except smaller) circle around the tip of the lance, and then turn into sparkles and disappear.
- Slayer is active on any weapons used, not just light magic; this can be seen when anoffensive staff is used on a monster, as the staff's icon will flash, indicating it deals bonus damage, though this has no impact on the staff or its effect.
