TheSilver Blade (Japanese:銀の大剣Silver Greatsword) is a raresword which was introduced inFire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. It is the strongest of the blade family of weapons, a series of large, heavy swords which trade the reliability of ordinary swords for sheer power. Compared to its ordinary sword counterpart, theSilver Sword, the Silver Blade typically has improvedmight in exchange for significantly higherweight, worseaccuracy and lowerdurability. As a result, while the Silver Blade is among the most powerful of all swords, units lacking in theirspeed orconstitution stats are greatly weighed down by it and have theiravoid and chance of being able tofollow-up attack crippled by its weight.
