TheSidelong Yumi (Japanese:横撃ちの和弓Horizontal-Shooting Yumi) is ayumi introduced inFire Emblem Fates. Unlike most yumi, the Sidelong Yumi is capable of both melee and ranged combat. This comes at the cost of making it easier for the enemy todouble attack, while at the same time preventing the wielder from being able to do so.

- Although the Sidelong Yumi has a unique 3D model present in the game's files, it reuses theBrass Yumi's model during gameplay due to the game calling for an invalid ID when loading its model.
