TheShamshir (Japanese:シャムシールShamshir) is asword-type weapon which first appeared inFire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. It serves as theMagvel equivalent to the then-Elibe-specificWo Dao—an alternative to theKilling Edge with a lowerweapon level and an even highercritical rate, albeit with a restricted userbase. The Shamshir can only be used byMyrmidons,Swordmasters,Assassins,Eirika, meleeBonewalkers, and meleeWights.
