Ruud (Japanese:ルード) is a knight ofBern during theDisturbance of Bern who, blinded by his greed, imprisonedGuinivere when she stopped on the castle he was guarding.
Ruud planned to sell Guinivere to Bern's enemies during the war; however, his plans were foiled whenElen, Guinivere's vassal, escaped and informed about Ruud's schemes toRoy ofPherae, who was traveling in the nearby area. Roy promptly attacked the castle and defeated Ruud, rescuing Guinivere.

Role
Ruud is the boss ofChapter 2. He holds Guinivere captive to try to ransom her to Bern's enemies for money. The plan fails when Roy shows up and defeats him.
