Analysis

Rhajat starts at the earliest, a level 10Diviner starting inParalogue 14 ofBirthright orRevelation. Since she is a child unit, her starting stats, growth rates, stat cap modifiers, and pair up bonuses can vary depending on her mother. Being level 10, she starts with Diviner's starting skills.Magic +2 can help her get off the ground faster with damage output, andFuture Sight gives a luck% chance to double experience gain from defeating an enemy. Her personal skill,Vendetta, gives +4 damage when fighting an enemy more than once, though this will only have niche uses against strong foes, particularly bosses. Since Rhajat's magic is quite high, she will most often one-round an enemy, negating the skills usefulness. Her base D in tomes/scrolls lets her use the famousHorse Spirit for its high stat buffs, and theOx Spirit, which she starts with in her inventory.

Corrin is a special mother since she can pass even more variable growths, stat cap mods, and pair up bonuses depending on her chosen boon and bane stats. However, Corrin does not pass classes depending on her talent class, but only is able to passNohr Princess, which is still a decent class in its own right.Nobility gives extra experience, which is great for any unit, andDragon Fang gives a chance to deal extra damage, albeit at an unreliable rate.Hoshido Noble is the only promotion choice when playingBirthright, and has access to rods, which can be good since Rhajat generally will have higher magic than strength.Dragon Ward gives a chance, though pretty poor, to half damage taken for an adjacent ally, andHoshidan Unity gives +10% to any proc skills Rhajat has. When playingRevelation, Rhajat has the alternate promotion ofNohr Noble, which is better as a combat class with having tome access, and Rhajat will greatly appreciate that.Draconic Hex inflicts a -4 stat debuff to all stats after combat except HP and movement, andNohrian Trust lets Rhajat use any offensive trigger skills that her pair up partner has access to.

SinceFelicia is a magical mother, Rhajat is perfectly fine with her as her mother, though her skill growth will be a shaky 30%. Reclassing toStrategist can be a good idea for being mounted, but her skill growth is reduces to 25%, and she loses some points of skill, so keep that in mind.Onmyoji will still be a good option regardless, so the player can decide what they deem more important.Maid will not be super great since shurikens are weak, Rhajat has a poor strength stat and growth, and she would need twoArms Scrolls to wield the magicalFlame Shuriken.Tomebreaker from Maid could be worth the trouble, though it is much better gotten as Felicia's inherited skill.

Azura andHinoka's main perks are their speed, with Azura giving Rhajat a massive 70% speed growth at base, and a +6 speed mod.Hinoka also gives a decent speed growth at 62.5%, and a +4 speed mod. Rhajat's strength growths for both are decent enough, meaning thatBasara andOni Chieftain are perfect final classes, thoughFalcon Knight can also be decent as a mobile staff-bot. Giving Rhajat two Arms Scrolls for the magicalBolt Naginata for Basara or Falcon Knight, or theBolt Axe for Oni Chieftain are some ideas worth considering if her damage output with physical weapons is lacking. On the topic of skills from Sky Knight and its promotions,Darting Blow,Warding Blow, andAir Superiority are the best skills that one could obtain to make Rhajat's combat better, andRally Speed is great to become more supportive.

Mozu is a top tier mother for being able to passAptitude for an extra 10% to a unit's growths. Rhajat would appreciate higher offensive growths with this pairing since Rhajat's strength growth never breaks 50% without it, and her magic growth only does as an Onmyoji.Life and Death is the obvious winner when it comes to skill access other than Aptitude, giving +10 to Rhajat's attacks to help with potential damage issues if she goes physical. This is an excellent pairing that lets Rhajat use every one of her classes to great effect.

Rinkah is quite a poor mother since a majority of Rhajat's growths will be below average, with the only good growths being magic and speed. Her skill growth is average, but the -2 skill mod is not great. ANinja inheritance is quite poor since shurikens are weak, and her strength growth is a terrible 25% as a Ninja orMaster Ninja. The skills are decent, but are probably not worth the trouble to obtain unless the player spends two Arms Scrolls to use the magical Flame Shuriken, or theShining Bow onRevelation as aMechanist.

Sakura is a decent mother, since she passes a high magic growth, and decent growths in HP, speed, and luck. Her skill is slightly worse at 35%, and she has a -1 skill mod. Rhajat's strength growth is not the greatest when reclassing, so sticking with Onmyoji is probably the way to go, though she should haveRenewal since she has low bulk. Sakura can easily pass it as the inherited skill, or Rhajat can obtain it herself as a level 5Priestess.

Hana passes decent offensive growths, but Rhajat's defensive growths are pretty lackluster, especially with the -3 defense mod. +2 mods in strength and magic, and +5 in speed are the highlights of the mods. Since both strength and magic have good growths, Basara and Oni Chieftain open up as potential final classes in addition to Onmyoji. TheSamurai class tree Hana passes has access to great skills.Duelist's Blow gives +30 avoid when initiating combat, andVantage lets Rhajat strike first when being counterattacked if she is below 50% HP, which could be frequent with her poor defensive stats. Rhajat also has access to Life and Death with this pairing as well, andSwordfaire fromSwordmaster can be great if Rhajat decides to remain in a class that uses swords.

Orochi andNyx are the best mothers for raw magical damage output, as Rhajat's magic growth from Orochi as an Onmyoji rockets to a massive 82.5%, her growth as aSorcerer from Nyx reaches 80%, and both give a +5 magic mod to boot. Orochi does win out with growths, as the only superior growth Nyx has is her higher speed growth, although Orochi's is still pretty good. Nyx has worse growths in most other areas, namely skill, luck, and resistance. They are also both really similar in mods, where Orochi has a +2 skill mod and +1 speed mod, but Nyx has a -2 skill mod and a +5 speed mod. All their other mods are the exact same.Apothecary as her inheritance from Orochi is not super noteworthy unless the player would really wantReplicate from Mechanist.Dark Mage from Nyx is a much better inheritance, letting her keep her high damage output with tomes, and giving access to other powerful skills likeHeartseeker,Lifetaker, andBowbreaker. The main difference depends on the route being played. Orochi can be her mother on bothBirthright andRevelation, whereas Nyx is aRevelation exclusive.

Setsuna is a lackluster mother with a majority of growths for Rhajat being quite poor, mainly with her magic growth being 45%. The only standout growth is speed at 70%, and having a +6 speed mod, which the superior Azura already provides, giving even less of a reason to use Setsuna. TheArcher inheritance is very underwhelming with Rhajat's poor strength growth, thoughSkill +2,Certain Blow, and Air Superiority can help fix Rhajat's accuracy issues. However, this pairing fairs a bit better onRevelation due to having access to the magical Shining Bow, but even then, a 30% magic growth as aSniper orKinshi Knight is not ideal. Thus, this pairing should be avoided.

Oboro lets Rhajat retain a decent magic growth, and gives a good enough strength growth that physical classes could be viable with a bit more investment. HerSpear Fighter inheritance best utilizesLancefaire fromSpear Master in conjunction with the Bolt Naginata to become a Basara that does not have to worry about the strength stat.

Kagero increases Rhajat's strength growth the most compared to the other mothers, but also passes a very poor skill growth, along with a -1 skill mod. Basara is still a decent option to utilize both physical and magical combat, but Oni Chieftain plummets Rhajat's skill growth to a pitiful 15%. Rhajat's best classes with this pairing would either be a class from the Ninja class tree to improve her skill, orBlacksmith to improve her HP and defense growths, which are also lacking.

Effie is aRevelation exclusive mother to Rhajat. Growthwise, she passes good growths in many areas, but HP, skill, and defense are lacking, as the usually are with Rhajat. Modwise, skill, defense, and resistance are all -1, but she also has +4 in strength and speed. TheKnight inheritance is best used by reclassing toGreat Knight for full weapon triangle control, and obtaining the good skill ofArmored Blow. Rhajat also has a high speed growth when in the Knight class tree, which means thatWary Fighter fromGeneral will not be necessary. Even with her new options, her usual classes are still great options regardless.

Rhajat is one of the characters added to the game in the Book II launch update, and became available for summoning by players on December 2, 2017, as part of one of one of two summoning events surrounding the ninth Voting Gauntlet, "Enduring Love". Only one variation of Rhajat is currently available inHeroes, based on herFates incarnation.

Much like inher past life, Rhajat has a tendency to stalk people whom she takes an interest in but may ignore or look down upon those she doesn't. She has an obsession with unusual spells, curses, and hexes, spending much of her time concocting and researching them. Despite her dark and uncaring demeanor Rhajat would never test out these peculiar magics on innocents. Also like Tharja, Rhajat despises bright things.

Rhajat seems to have an affinity for both women and men, as femaleCorrin, alongside various men, are potential love interests for her.

Rhajat: Black Magician
Rhajat is the daughter of Hayato, a diviner from Hoshido. When she was born, she was rushed off to the Deeprealms, where she could be raised in safety away from the fires of war.	Her skills as a diviner rival even her father’s. What’s more, it seems she cultivated an interest in the dark arts while she was growing up in the Deeprealms…	Time passes differently there, which led to Rhajat growing up pretty quickly. Before she knew it, she’d picked up a sense of style that others would be envious of.	Now an adult, Rhajat remains driven by her pursuits into the dark arts, and she’s determined to go her own way no matter what. You know, she reminds me a lot of someone else around here…
