ThePrayer Ring (Japanese:祈りの指輪Prayer Ring) is an accessory item in the ring category ofequipment introduced inFire Emblem Gaiden and appearing also in its remake,Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, andFire Emblem: Three Houses. InGaiden, the Prayer Ring heals 5 HP to the bearer each turn and, if the bearer still has less than half of their maximum HP remaining, theircritical rate is boosted to 100%, making the effects of the ring more similar toWrath thanMiracle (Prayer in Japanese), though the ring predates bothskills. InShadows of Valentia andThree Houses, it retains the HP recovery effect but instead gives theMiracle skill, making it closer in function to theMiracle Band inGenealogy of the Holy War. Notably, while the skill being granted is obvious inShadows of Valentia due to the game listing equipment skills in the user's skill list, inThree Houses only the ring's HP recovery effect is mentioned in its description and equipment skills are not listed anywhere. This leaves the ring's secondary effect entirely hidden from the player until it activates in battle.
