Poison Strike (Japanese:蛇毒Snake Venom) is a combatskill which debuted inFire Emblem Fates. InFates, it is a class skill associated with theNinja class; inThree Houses, it is learned bymastering theDark Mage class; inHeroes, it is a three-tiered type B passive skill (whose individiual tiers arePoison Strike 1,Poison Strike 2, andPoison Strike 3 in order from lowest to highest). Poison Strike is a skill that deals additional damage to an enemy at the end of a battle the user initiates. The damage is equal to 20% of the target's maximumHP in the main series games, and fixed damage increasing with the skill's tier inHeroes. As with all skills that deal out-of-combat damage, it cannot reduce units to 0 HP.
InFire Emblem Engage, it is one of several skills that are exclusively used by some high-level enemies on the game's hardest difficulty mode,Maddening. Poison Strike is exclusive to enemyWolf Knights.
