TheVenin Axe orPoison Axe (Japanese:毒の斧Poison Axe) is an uncommonaxe which was introduced inFire Emblem: Thracia 776. It is statistically near-identical to the regularIron Axe, except that it contains a toxin which gives it the added effect ofpoisoning units when the weapon successfully hits them. These axes are almost exclusively found in the hands ofenemy units, and can only be obtained by the player's army inPath of Radiance bystealing from enemies who wield them or, inThree Houses, byforging them.
