Parallel Falchion
| ||||||
|
TheParallel Falchion (Japanese:裏剣ファルシオンReverse Sword Falcion) is asword introduced inFire Emblem Awakening. It is the variant ofFalchion wielded byLucina, which she brought back with her when she traveled back through time to preventGrima's rebirth. It reappears inFates andEchoes: Shadows of Valentia along with Lucina via amiibo interaction.
History
Parallel Falchion's history is identical to the history of theExalted Falchion prior to the events of Chrom's confrontation with Validar at theDragon's Table. However, Parallel Falchion's history diverges at that point, with Parallel Falchion's history following Chrom's death within the halls of the Table in a much bleaker alternate future than depicted in the main events ofAwakening.
In this ruinous future, Lucina inherited Falchion after Chrom's death at the hands ofGrima. Before Lucina traveled back in time, she performed an incompleterite of Awakening which increased Falchion's power but failed to unlock its full potential, transforming it into the Parallel Falchion.[1]
