TheOcean Seal (Japanese:覇者の証Conqueror's Proof) is one of severalpromotionitems in theFire Emblem series.
The Ocean Seal has appeared in two games in the series:The Blazing Blade andThe Sacred Stones. InThe Blazing Blade, its lone purpose was to promotePirates, a function that was part of theHero Crest's job inThe Binding Blade; this function also carried over toThe Sacred Stones.The Sacred Stones also gave the Ocean Seal the ability to promotethieves, a function that belonged to theFell Contract inThe Blazing Blade, and the ability to promotebrigands, though this cannot be seen in normal gameplay as there are no playable brigands.
