Notre Sagesse is an independent nation on an island south ofNohr.

TheSevenfold Sanctuary is a location in Notre Sagesse.
InBirthright, Corrin and his/her army arrive in Notre Sagesse, after being teleported with the help ofLeo back in theWoods of the Forlorn, in order to gain power to matchXander. They start asking where to find the Rainbow Sage to which an old man tell them to go to the summit of Mount Sagesse as the Sevenfold Sanctuary, the home of the Sage, is at its peak. Arrived at theSevenfold Sanctuary, the army fight a group of illusion and subdue them. After the battle, they move toward the rearmost door and are warped back to the streets of the harbor where they meet the old man from earlier who present himself as the Rainbow Sage. He reveals to them that the journey to meet him and the fight back in the sanctuary were the way Sumeragi, Garon and Xander gained power and that they also gained that power. The army says goodbye to the Sage before warping back toNohr.
InConquest, Corrin and his/her army arrive in Notre Sagesse and take on the challenge of the Sevenfold Sanctuary to attempt to meet the Rainbow Sage, who has been captured by Hoshidans lead byHinoka. They managed to subdue the Hoshidan forces without killing any of them and Hinoka chooses to retreat with her troops. The Rainbow Sage tell to Corrin that he already received the power he/she wanted as well as Ryoma.Iago appears to tell them to finish their mission and kill the Sage but before Corrin is able to do anything, the Rainbow Sage says that he doesn't have more time and dies anyway.
InRevelation, Corrin and his/her army arrive in Notre Sagesse and start asking where to find the Rainbow Sage to which an old man tell them to go to the summit of Mount Sagesse as the Sevenfold Sanctuary, the home of the Sage, is at its peak. Arrived at theSevenfold Sanctuary, the army fight a group of illusion and subdue them. After the battle, they move toward the rearmost door and are warped back to the streets of the harbor where they meet the old man from earlier who present himself as the Rainbow Sage. The Rainbow Sage unlocksYato's power, transforming it into the Alpha Yato and tells Corrin that, once the Yato meets the four divine weapons, it will be completed and become theFire Emblem. The Rainbow Sage then collapses before saying that his time in this world has come to an end. He also reveals himself to also be the dragon Corrin was searching for—one of the twelveFirst Dragons, and the creator of the Yato and the divine weapons—and that he could not die until he atoned for making them. The Sage finally passes on, telling Corrin to make his/her own destiny. Corrin directs the group to move out to theBottomless Canyon once and for all.
