Nohr (Japanese:暗夜の同胞Dark Night Compatriot) is the first chapter ofFire Emblem Fates. It mainly exists for story purposes, with little gameplay required. This chapter introducesCorrin's attendants andNohrian siblings, and again demonstrates the power ofDragon Veins.

Corrin spends some time with their Nohrian siblings and has a fruitful training session withXander. After training, Corrin learns that KingGaron has summoned them to the Nohrian capital, which means they can finally leave the fortress in which they have been sheltered.

Dragon Vein data
- The only Dragon Vein point is located on the tile where Xander stands (column 7, row 4); Xander will activate it after one round of battle has been fought. It creates aHealtile at the center of the map.

On the first turn, move Corrin towards Xander, and attack on the second turn. Xander will trigger the Dragon Vein point to reveal a Healtile; use it to recover HP. Corrin can then challenge Xander twice more to win the battle.
