Trivia
- Nidhogg is the only Sacred Twin weapon available inFire Emblem Awakening (not countingExcalibur, which is representing the Archanean variant rather than the Magvel variant).
- Nidhogg and theDouble Bow are the only weapons which gives a higher equipping stat bonus inAwakening (+10 Luck in Nidhogg's case) than in its original games (+5 Luck).
- In spin-off appearances post-Awakening,Lucina has been twice depicted as wielding Nidhogg as one of her primary weapons, in bothMonster Hunter: Frontier G andCode Name: S.T.E.A.M. InAwakening itself, while Lucina can potentially wield Nidhogg throughreclassing, there is no overt connection between her and it.
- The first refined effect of Nidhogg inFire Emblem Heroes is internally reffered to as
反撃抑制R魔竜, which roughly means "Counterattack Constraint Magic Dragon".
