New Year Fang

New Year Fang (Japanese:巳年の毒の牙Year of the snake's poisonous fang) is a weaponskill in thebeast category which debuted inFire Emblem Heroes; it is apersonal weapon of the New Year variation ofNíðhöggr. New Year Fang grants stat boosts, Hexblade, and a status reducing the potency of a foe's damage-reducing effects to the user and their nearby allies; when its user is transformed or theirHP is not low, it damages the foe as combat begins, reduces the foe's stats, allows the user's once-per-combat damage-reducing effects to trigger twice per combat, boosts the damage the user deals, and reduces the damage the foe deals based on the damage they have taken and if their special triggers.
