Nelson (Japanese:ネルソン) is a formerValmese general and the boss ofparalogue 10 ofFire Emblem Awakening. Nelson leads his band of unidentifiable bandits in defense of a mercenary fortress on the northern half of an island off the west coast ofPlegia. Aware of the arrival ofChrom and theShepherds, he desires theFire Emblem for himself. He is able to blackmailSevera into working with him by holding onto something of hers as well as keeping an unwilling villager namedHolland working for him as well. By the time the skirmish begins, Severa has made her decision to stop working for Nelson, attempt to recover her lost property, and try to convince Holland to do the same. Nelson is eventually defeated by the Shepherds.
