Analysis

Morgan isRobin's child, and it should be no surprise that Morgan thus has all the options Robin does. Considering their access to every class in the game, and their parent's ability to have EXP funneled into them so easily, Morgan can become the single best unit in the game if used properly.

There are two main ways to build a Morgan. The first is to build them like any other second generation unit, but better because Robin can pass down one gender locked skill. This gives you a good Morgan out of the gate.

For male Robin, pairing withSully,Tharja, orNoire is the best, as none of them have access to the Dark Flier tree. Doing this will allow Morgan and her sibling have access to (or ever start with) Galeforce, which allows for three Galeforcers from one pairing. Tharja or Nowi is preferred- Sully passes on very little that Morgan enjoys, while both Nah and Noire are unique enough that have access to Robin's wide array of options can help them out.

If you are female, marrying Chrom is simply the best and often only choice, as it is the only pairing that gives you two Robin-powered units. Just like male Robin, Morgan can gain a single genderlocked skill in this way, with Counter, Axefaire, and Wrath all being notable. Additionally, this allows a robin-poweredLucina, something that is very powerful. Female Robin normally does not have the same benefit that male Robin has (the ability to have two children), and thus this pairing allows her to reclaim that right with a very early, very powerful child.

There is, however, a second way to make your Morgan- a third generation Morgan. Robin is the only character who is first generation and can support the second generation children. Because of this, properly delaying Robin's supports can allow your Morgan to be passed on an insane amount of skills and growths. The viability of this is debatable, but it can make Morgan the single best unit in the game.

Doing this with female robin is nonoptimal. There are very few magical second generation fathers, your only choices beingBrady orLaurent, who each have their own flaws. Brady's support focus makes it difficult to grind support quickly and Laurent is tied toMiriel, which is a potential issue considering both Robin and Morgan will perform better in magical classes in this setup.Yarne is also an interesting choice, as it allows Morgan to become a Taguel, but this is almost never optimal.Owain is a good option and probably your best choice for a third generation male Morgan, but in most cases it is still a better idea in most cases to simply go with a Chrom pairing and use a super powered Morgan and Lucina.

However, with male Robin you get access to potentially the most overpowered marriage in the game, which is the Robin/Lucina pairing. Lucina is already very powerful if you invest into her, and supporting Robin is a fairly simply endeavor. Morgan will have access to a load of powerful skill, and considering she'll have access to the Female class sets, she can pick up Galeforce easily. This lets Lucina pass down Aether or Righful King, as well as Robin's standard "whatever it is you need" skills. Even more important, Morgan can reclass into Tactican, giving them access to Veteran. All of this combined makes a Robin/Lucina pairing overkill for Morgan, as she will wipe the floor with pretty much anything in the game if given the slightest amount of favoritism, easily obtained on her joining map or any other child paralouges.

Overall, Morgan is a flexible unit that can be thought of in many ways as simply a second Robin. Making sure to correctly pair off your Robin is key to maximizing your Morgan, and whether you go for the immediate power of a second generation Morgan or the snowball effect that is third generation, Morgan will remain one of the best units in the game.

While he didn't seem to be injured, he'd somehow lost all of his memories and had no idea what was happening when he came to.	Morgan soon entered the care of Chrom, prince of the Halidom of Ylisse, remembering only his own name and his mother, Robin.	You'd think this predicament would give him a lot to worry about, but Morgan rose to the challenge with a smile. He continues to devote himself to his studies, hoping to become the tactician his mother is!
