TheMonk (Japanese:修道士Monk) is abasic magicalclass which debuted inFire Emblem: The Blazing Blade. InThe Blazing Blade andThe Sacred Stones, Monk is an offensive magical class which wieldslight magic, and is a male-exclusive class.[1] InThree Houses andWarriors: Three Hopes, the Monk is an entry-level magic-user, able to wield bothblack andwhite magic, and is not restricted by gender.
Compared to other offensive magic classes, the Monk possesses lowermagic, but higherskill andspeed; in conjunction with the typically lightweight and accuratelight magic, Monks have excellentaccuracy andattack speed.
InThe Blazing Blade, Monkspromote to theBishop class, gaining the use ofstaves. InThe Sacred Stones, Monks have the option to promote to Bishop orSage.
