Mokushu

Mokushu (Japanese:フウマFūma) is an independent country borderingHoshido. It is ruled by a daimyo,Kotaro, during the events ofFire Emblem Fates.
History
Prior to the events of the game, the kingdom of Mokushu declared war on the neighboring kingdom ofKohga resulting in the destruction of the latter. At the beginning of the war betweenNohr andHoshido, Mokushu originally declared to side with the kingdom of Hoshido.
During the events ofFates, it was revealed by Kotaro himself that this allegeance was a ruse in order to prepare a large scale invasion of Hoshido with the combined troops of Mokushu and Nohr in order to fulfill a agreement with Garon who promised him a huge piece of land to expand Mokushu's territory. This revelation was succeeded by a clash between Corrin's army and Kotaro's forces resulting in the death of the latter and the fall of Mokushu.

Mokushu's Forest
TheMokushu's Forest (Japanese:フウマの森Forest of Fūma) is a location in Mokushu.
InBirthright andRevelation, Corrin and his/her army, en route toward the Bottomless Canyon, pass through the Mokushu Forest, only to find out their people have aligned themselves with Nohr on the promise of expanded territory. As the army deals with the famed ninjas of the area, their leader, Kotaro, die in the battle.
Cave in Mokushu
TheCave in Mokushu (Japanese:フウマの洞窟Cave of Fūma) is a location in Mokushu.
InConquest, Corrin and his/her army arrive in Mokushu, an apparent Nohrian ally within Hoshidan territory, and come to the aid of their daimyo, Kotaro; upon Corrin figuring out Kotaro's actual tactics and ambitions, Kotaro turns the Mokushujin against Corrin's army in hopes of furthering his own ambitions but ultimately die during the battle.
