TheMeisterschwert (Japanese:マスターソードMaster Sword) is a raresword found in theFire Emblem series. In its original appearance inFire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem, and again inNew Mystery of the Emblem, the remake of its second book, it is basically a stronger variation of theKilling Edge. In its only other appearance inThracia 776, it instead acts as abrave weapon, allowing the unit to double the number of attacks per turn; however, it lacks the extended durability of the similarBrave Sword, which also has a betterweight, highermight and even a lowerweapon level, although it does have a highercritical rate than the Brave Sword. Its appearance inHeroes is based on itsThracia 776 version; here, it is the personal weapon of the "Thunder's Sword" variant ofReinhardt.
