TheMartial Monk (Japanese:モンクMonk) is abase magicalclass which debuted inFire Emblem Engage. It is a healer class which usesstaves, and distinguishes itself from previous base healer classes by being able to defend itself usingarts. As a Qi Adept-type unit, it is also capable of defending adjacent allies using theChain Guard command. The Martial Monk maypromote to eitherMartial Master orHigh Priest.
