Mantle (Japanese:女神の加護The Goddess's Divine Protection) is askill which debuted inFire Emblem: Path of Radiance. In this game, it will negate all damage (although in the description it states that it only reduces damage). InFire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, it negates damage only from non-blessed weapons and restores HP each turn, equal to the user'sluck stat, while also providing the user with immunity to other skill effects andcritical hits. The skill is primarily associated withSephiran, who is the only playable unit in either game with access to it. It is also possessed by the last three bosses ofRadiant Dawn, so to fight these bosses the player must use weapons which have been blessed byYune.
